Several years ago, I came across a book called

'Modern Cabinet Making in Solid Wood' by Bavarian designer Franz Karg.

It completely changed my image of cabinet making.

In the book you can see a great combination of elegant simplicity and extremely fine detail.

I've been making boxes, stools and trays lately. But I'd love to make a cabinet when I next have the chance.
